Posting Images

| Misfit Squirrels offers one of the most generous image size posting policies on the web. Members can post inline and gallery images up to 1000px wide by 1500px tall and 400kib in weight. In recognition of those who may not have the latest modems, we do ask that you post the 'lightest' weight image without sacrificing quality.
This site also supports multiple media formats for both still and moving pictures. If you encounter a file format we don't support, don't hesitate to contact GbyP or dsclink - the site Admins. Likewise if you need to transfer a larger sized file. We can either temporarily increase the file size limit or provide you directory access to upload/download larger files via FTP. Avatars are currently limited to 200x200px and 100kib in size as most display their name/avatar to the left of their post and too large an image can interfere with clearly viewing image attachments. However, the signature 'line' supports images so we could move to a larger landscape style avatar in the signature line if interest peaks. There is an onsite avatar gallery or you can supply your own; if you are interested in designing site avatars for anyone to use, please contact GbyP or dsclink. |
