| When you log onto the site, you will know see a bar at the bottom of the index page - this is a new Chatbox.
Members visible in the "Who is Online" section at the bottom of the board are available for chat IF they choose to be - using chat and being available for others to contact is voluntary.
The left side of the bar has options for 1:1 chat and the right side of the bar features chat-rooms. There are several fixed chat-rooms, but users can also set up temporary public or private rooms too. There are multiple options with this feature including the ability to send files, download conversations, handwrite notes, and play games.
The buttons are fairly intuitive - just explore. However, in the near future, this section will include some tips and navigation hints. Enjoy! |
